The Investec Derby Festival, on Friday 1st and Saturday 2nd June, is the pinnacle of the sporting and social calendar, set to attract over 200,000 racegoers.
The two-day festival opens with Investec Ladies’ Day on 1 June, with elegant, fashionable racegoers gath-ering for a classic day’s racing, which features the Group 1 Investec Oaks; combining high style stakes both on and off the track.
On Saturday 2 June, the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations begin, with races including the ‘world’s greatest flat race’, the Investec Derby, worth £1.25m in prize money. Top names in fashion are involved with this illustrious event, including model and writer Laura Bailey, who is the official face of the Festival and often seen gracing the front row of fashion shows around the world. She will wear a bespoke hat on Investec Ladies’ Day, designed by celebrity milliner Philip Treacy. Theo Fennell, in honour of the Investec Derby Festival, has designed a Horseshoe Necklace, with a total of 60 diamonds.
