Top Three Favourites: 27 September

Each week Twenty Something London picks their top three favourites for going out in London.
Twenty Something London picks their top three favourites for going out in London. This week it's authentic Vietnamese in South London , a hidden café in Central London , and a live music event

The best vietnameise in south London?

twenty-something-2

Orchid Kitchen, South Kensington

Orchid Kitchen is a gem hiding between the posh pubs and eateries of Fulham Road. Every dish we tried was divine; quintessentially Vietnamese and full of flavour. Luc Luc Monkfish is a must.

Café in Charing Cross

twenty-something-1

Café @ Foyles, Leicester Square

Hidden behind an inconspicuous door is one of Central London's best kept secret cafes. Inside the infamous Foyles bookshop institution (open since 1901), you'll find this gem open 7 days a week, serving simple but delicious cakes and sandwiches. Best of all is their own coffee blend used to make their brews and the cheese cake.

Live music must

twenty-something-3

Sofar +, Hackney Wick

Following on from Sofar Sounds' last sold out success of Sofar+, the first weekend of October promises another fantastic (yet secret) line up of up and coming artists, performers, street food, and at least 6 hours of live music. Given that their secret gigs (usually for around 60 people) are so popular you can hardly get on the guest list, this is the perfect chance to get a glimpse of the Sofar experience.
