Top Three Favourites: 6 September

This week Twenty Something London bring you more wine less whine and a whole lot of role play with quirky wine bars and speakeasies. Last but not least top rooftop views  are on the cards too.

Quirky Wine Bars

top-3-1

Vats Wine Bar, Holborn
Along a charming street in Holborn – that just so happens to be one of our favourites in London (Lambs Condit Street) - you'll find Vat's Wine Bar. Open since the 1970s and run under the auspices of David and Carry this is where to come for a glass or two of vino indulgence. With a hand-picked wine list by David himself and an inviting décor similar to one you'd find in a Victorian dolls house with its banquettes, wooden panels and fireplaces, you'll be sold the minute you find the front door.

Speakeasies

top3-3-new

Evans & Peel, Bar, Earls Court
If you're the type who likes going to sophisticated speakeasy bars then Evan's and Peel is one you'll enjoy even more. Why so? Because you have to role-play, think on your feet, and convince the detective on the front door that you and your alter ego and worthy of entry. Instead of thinking "snooty" think "fun" and hats off to anyone who can get the professional actor-cum-host to accidently come out of character on the door.

Rooftop Views
top-3-3

Netil House, Rooftop bar & Market, Hackney
There is a rooftop in East London that is well worth a visit before summer goes to sleep. Part of Netil House, Netil 360 gives you amazing views over the capital all the while playing host to great events. Redemption – a pop-up alcohol free Sunday bar – for one. Another weekend must is their Netil Market in the car park outside the building with talented street chefs serving hearty treats.
