The Lady Lux Fix
Having studied Textile Design at Chelsea College of Art and Design (University of the Arts London), where she sold pieces to the likes of Bottega Veneta, Diane Von Furstenberg and Kenneth Cole, Maya Magal spent several years working both as an accessories assistant designer at Folk Clothing and as a Head Designer at high-end jewellery brand, Miquella.
Her designs were stocked in luxury stores around the world, including Harrods and Harvey Nichols. In 2013, Maya launched her debut collection (‘MY’) from her studio in Hatton Gardens, where she still designs all of her pieces. With her focus on rough cut and natural stones alongside geometric shapes, the collection has been exceptionally received by both industry-insiders and the press.
