The Ritz, London
During the Christmas season, traditional Afternoon Tea in The Palm Court at The Ritz will be given a festive twist. You can enjoy with your family and friends, servings of delicate finger sandwiches, delicious pastries, mouth-watering cakes and freshly made scones with Cornish clotted cream and strawberry preserve whilst listening to the glorious sounds of The Ritz choir singing carols.
Palm Court will be transformed into an Edwardian winter wonderland, surrounded by rich red and gold trimmings and a beautiful lavishly decorated Christmas tree in the centre of the room, making it feel enchanting.
Each adult will receive a glass of Ritz Champagne and each child will receive a Ritz teddy bear (excluding Christmas Day). On Christmas Day, Father Christmas will make a special visit to The Ritz with presents for all the lucky children, at our 11.30am, 1.30pm, 3.30pm and 5.30pm sittings. Christmas Afternoon Tea at The Ritz is available from Saturday 25thNovember until Saturday 30th December 2017 at our 1:30pm, 3:30pm, 5:30pm and 7:30pm sittings.
The Savoy, London
This festive season, The Savoy and Penhaligon’s have joined together to bring the scents of Christmas to the air of London. Along with a truly magical showpiece in the Front Hall, inspired by Christmas in Victorian London, from 27 November to 1 January, The Savoy will be offering a ‘Scents of Christmas’ Penhaligon’s Afternoon Tea. Refined pastries are crafted to highlight the aromas and flavours that evoke the nostalgia of Christmas, with notes of cinnamon, oranges, juniper, cloves and pine needles. Unique to the Festive Afternoon Tea offering, guests will have the option to enjoy a glass of Louis Roederer Vintage.
Priced at £68.00 per person for Festive Afternoon Tea; £85.00 with a glass of Louis Roederer Vintage 2009; £145.00 with a glass of Louis Roederer Cristal.
Winter Wonderland Afternoon Tea, The Hilton, Park Lane
Afternoon Tea with fresh sandwiches and delicacies freshly made by pastry chefs with the finest quality ingredients, including delicious Valrhona chocolate. Teas served are supplied from Twinings and have been carefully chosen to accompany the afternoon tea treats, including a special blend of chocolate and hazelnut infused Assam tea. Afternoon Tea is served daily from 2 p.m - 5 p.m. Monday to Friday and from 12.30 p.m - 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday and is priced at £39 per person, or £49 including a glass of Champagne.
